Installation

Installation

  1. Thread the bolts into the landing pads and tighten with the supplied allen key.
  2. Confirm your mounting surface is smooth and non-porous. For best adhesion, lightly scuff the surface with a scotch pad. Do this at your discretion, as scuffing will mark the finish. Clean the scuffed area with the included isopropyl alcohol wipes.
  3. Remove the red VHB liner. Carefully set the mount with the exposed pads onto the cleaned surface. Point the TRIO logo and dish cord toward the back (trailing edge) of your vehicle, boat, or RV.
  4. Apply firm pressure through each mounting foot for solid adhesion. If possible, place a heavy object on top of the mount for 24 hours to optimize the bond. Ideal application temperature is 70°F to 100°F.
  5. Slide the Starlink dish onto the mount until it clicks firmly into place. Confirm it is secure. You are online.
