Keep your Starlink Gen 3 Standard dish secure with this extra sturdy pole mount.

The TRIO Gen 3 Pole Mount is a convenient option for those wanting to mount their Gen 3 Starlink in a secure and convenient way at home, or on their boat or RV. Simply press the tabs on the Starlink kickstand and slide it out, and slide in the TRIO Pole Mount until it clicks in firmly, place it over a 2” Flag Pole Buddy pole (OR Harbor Freight: 1.65”, 1.5”, or 1” poles with correct insert), then simply tighten the M6 screws to cinch the mount on the pole and you’re all set!

** If wanting multiple inserts, please indicate so via drop down option and specify which inserts in the “Additional Information” box during checkout ($10 extra per additional insert)

** We recommend to use the through bolt hole to drill out a hole in your pole and through bolt with 75mm M6 stainless hardware (available as add-on in drop down option).

Featuring stainless steel M6 screw and nylon lock nut hardware and manufactured from waterproof and UV thermoplastic that will not warp, the TRIO Gen 3 Pole Mount is built to last. It tilts the dish at an 8 degree angle to allow water run off and aerodynamic positioning. The pole mount also has a space for the Starlink cable to pass though. This product is 3D printed, and some surface imperfections may be present. They do not affect structural integrity.

** NOTE: Due to the 8 degree angle (instead of 20 degrees that the starlink kickstand gives) the app will show a notification that the dish needs to be aligned. This does not affect performance in any way in our testing.

If you already have a previous pole mount for Gen 1 or 2 Kits, use this pole mount (with or without insert) to fit on the same pole.

Installation

If using a size adapter (1”, 1.5” or 1.65”), insert it into the pole mount. Then, place the mount/insert unit onto the pole and slide the bolt through the mount, adapter and pole. Gently fasten the bolts at the base of the pole mount by hand. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Starlink app say the dish needs alignment?

That's expected. Our Pole Mount holds the dish at an 8 degree angle for better water runoff and aerodynamics, while the Starlink kickstand normally sits it at 20 degrees. The app reads the angle and shows an alignment notification because it expects 20 degrees.

In our testing this has no real impact on performance. The dish locks onto satellites just fine at 8 degrees, and you can safely ignore the alert.
What pole sizes does the Pole Mount fit?

Out of the box, the mount fits a 2-inch pole (matches the standard Flag Pole Buddy size).

We also offer inserts for smaller pole diameters: 1.65 inches (fits the Harbor Freight pole), 1.5 inches, and 1 inch. Pick the size that matches your pole at checkout. If you have multiple poles to mount on, you can order more than one insert.
How do I install the Pole Mount?

Press the tabs on the Starlink kickstand and slide it out. Slide the TRIO Pole Mount into the same slot until it clicks firmly into place. Drop the mount over your pole (with the appropriate insert first if you're using a smaller diameter pole), and gently tighten the M6 screws by hand.

Important: don't over-tighten the screws. They only need to be snug enough to clamp the mount to the pole. Over-tightening can crack the housing.

For extra security, you can add the through-bolt option and drill through the pole to lock the mount in place permanently.
Can I reuse my existing Gen 1 or Gen 2 pole setup?

Yes. If you already have a pole installed for a Gen 1 or Gen 2 Starlink kit, this Pole Mount fits the same poles. Use it with or without the appropriate insert depending on your pole diameter. No rebuilding the install.
