The TRIO Flatmount Adhesive Kit is a low-profile mounting solution for those wanting to mount their Gen 3 Standard Starlink dish on their RV, van, boat, trailer, truck, or marine surface without drilling. Press the tabs on the Starlink kickstand, slide it out, click the dish into the TRIO Flatmount, bond the mounting discs to your surface, allow proper cure time, and drop the mount into place.

Here is how it works. The VHB Adhesive-Backed Magnet Mounting Discs bond to your roof with 3M industrial-strength adhesive. That bond is permanent, so place them once and place them right. The discs turn your roof into a magnetic landing zone. The Rubber-Coated Magnets then sit on top of the discs and hold the mount down. The magnets are what come off. Lift the dish for storage, service, a low garage, or winter layup, then drop it back in seconds with no tools and no adhesive to replace.

If your roof is bare or painted steel, skip the discs entirely and mount straight to the surface with the magnets. One kit covers both. Use the discs on fiberglass, aluminum, composite, and rubber roofing where a magnet has nothing to grab. Go direct on steel.

NOTE: If you have a curved roof, the mount has slight flex, but you may need our Swivel Leg Mount Adapters for maximum surface area contact when using mounting discs, magnets, or suction cups. Add to your order if required.

Strength: This mount has been designed to be used in normal driving conditions and wind turbulence when installed correctly. We recommend installing behind another item (such as an AC unit or storage box) for wind dampening and to protect the dish. It is up to the end user to ensure the installation is secured appropriately. For fully exposed locations or higher speeds, we recommend our Gen 3 Standard Speedmount.
