Need a a Power Cable?

Our HP 12V Conversion box contains our POE injector and 12-56V converter inside to allow plug and play use with an aftermarket router like Peplink or GliNet (not included). This eliminates the need to use the HP router in addition to your existing aftermarket router which results in ~10% power savings not including inverter inefficiencies.

Simply connect the included 5’ SAE cable to a 12V or 24V power source (DC input range is 10-30V) and plug in your High Performance Dish’s Starlink ethernet cable into the port labeled DISH - no cable cutting or crimping required!

** Works with snowmelt! Our POE and converter are rated for 320W which is more than enough for Gen 3 snowmelt.

Power Consumption tested over 1 hour with constant upload/download internet: ~83 Wh (6A at 13.8V) - not including aftermarket router power consumption which will vary depending on your specific model.

Please select the appropriate connector for your application from the drop down: bare wire leads or ring terminals.

** We recommend using a 30A fuse on your 12V fuse block or adding an in-line fuse on the positive lead.

If connecting to a 12V fuse block, please use a 15A fuse (We recommend not lengthening the included 12V power supply cable length, but if needing to please size appropriately based on cable length and fuse size. Seek professional electrical assistance if required).

If connecting to a 24V fuse block, please use a 10A fuse

⚠ Given the varying conditions and applications that this can be installed in, it is ultimately up to the end user to make sure the power supply is safely and appropriately connected to 12V or 24V power. Arrived Fast & Worked as Expected

Located in Vancouver, this arrived pretty quick.

The documentation side of things leaves a bit to be desired, and the title is a tad misleading. This converter does not, in fact, power an aftermarket router. This product powers the Starlink dish, and that is all it does. Which is exactly what I wanted, but the title suggests otherwise. We are using a Peplink router which we directly wired into our boats' fuse panel.
Also, the explanation of the different recommended fuse to use is a little strange. Most people will have snow melting on by default, and if the device maximally will comfortably work with a 30A fuse there is no reason to suggest that a lower amp fuse to use. So for those in the future, just use a 30A fuse and you'll be fine.

Aside from these things, the product itself is great. It was easy to wire in and install, and it is super handy to remove the big Starlink power supply which would then require another big DC-AC converter which is what we were originally doing. Now we have a clean installation thanks to this product.

Quick Arrival & Good Products

Been using all the variations in starlink kits & combos for our company builds. Works great, easy installation and best of all not a ridiculous lead time.

Quality product

You won't be disappointed. This unit does exactly what it is supposed to do. I waited two years for someone to manufacturer an all-in-one 12v unit for the HP dish. This unit is great! Their lead time is accurate.

Works as expected

Works as expected but you do need to use the 10 gauge wire that was sent and you will need a 20amp breaker when using 12volt in.

During startup and satellite search, Starlink HP pulls alot of power. Once Starlink HP is up and running the power draw diminishes,

The only thing missing is a power on/off button. Our unit is plugged in while stored in the garage and the Starlink HP draws a lot of power trying to find a satellite.
