Gen 3 Standard Flatmount

I received a different bracket than the I ordered. The instructions were for the one ordered. I'll make it work.

I used this mount to install Starlink Standard on the roof of our boat for a trip from Seattle to Alaska. We had a lot of rough weather with pounding waves and water over the bow, and the mount held our Starlink dish securely with no issues.

This mount was perfect for installing our Starlink Gen 3 dishy on the roof of our RV. No more tripping over the cable or taking a rock from the lawn mowers at campgrounds. Installation was very simple. Thanks for creating such a great product.

The Gen 3 Standard Flatmount with Rubber Coated Magnets installed easily on the roof of our pickup. The dish is oriented parallel to the roof, and id affixed strongly. I particularly like that the mount can be removed from the roof and reinstalled easily. I recommend the Gen 3 Standard Flatmount with Rubber Coated Magnets.

I have now had the theTrio Gen 3 starlink bracket attached to my MH roof via stuck on magnets travelling through 14 European countries in some extreme weathers,
It doesn't move Its easy to clip in the array, and the bonus of no holes.

So far, so good. Fits. Appears to be secure and strong.

We regularly have 60 kt. winds in winter.

Upsized the washers. Mounted on fiberglass.

My 2018 Pleasure Way Ascent only had one viable place to mount the Starlink Gen 3 dish-y. The flatmount with magnetic feet was perfect. Thanks Trio!

Hungary , Romania ,Bulgaria , Serbia, Austria, Germany, and then to the Bad roads of the UK, It not only didnt move it worked perfectly
from 40c to 10c on a Morelo Palace Liner.

Quickly arrived, well packed, took 5 min to install, magnets are good and strong, fit Gen3 like a glove! and Most importantly it works!!! Could not be more happy!

I mounted my Starlink Gen 3 on my 2022 Toyota Tundra using the Trio Flatmount with the optional rubber magnetic feet. Even at 70 mph it did the job. It is a little noise on the highway and I think the new frame mount would work better with wind drag noise for over the road use. I would taper the edges more for better wind flow instead of a flat frame edge. For simple use however, this is a great product if you want to go somewhere and quickly mount your starlink.

Love the simplicity and ease of the mount. My mount did have a hairline crack in one of the cross bars when I received it but it hasn’t given me any problems so far. I mounted it on the roof of my Winnebago Navion and have driven over a 1000 miles with my Starlink attached with no issues.

Easy install using the VHB tape pads. I have used VHB tape to hold solar panels in place on my rv with no problem. I did however build a 2” high border around the dish to prevent high winds from getting under the dish and possibly dislodging it. The removal tool works as advertised. Downside is the 3d printing if not high quality. Tech support stays they are switching to a molded part but mine is printed.

I had a Gen 3 Starlink dish that I wanted to install on the brow of my boat. A club member made me aware of
the Trio mount that he had used on his radar arch to mount a similar dish. I purchased the Gen 3 Standard Flatmount. Due to the complex curves of the brow and the lack of access underneath it in the forward area, I added the swivel leg mounting adapters and VHB Adhesive Landing pads. While I was at it, I added the Gen 3 DC power supply so that I could avoid the issues associated with always needing AC power available on the boat and the inverter inefficiencies. Tim and Katie were wonderful to work with. They expedited my order to the Seattle area, I had everything little more than a week after ordering. The mount is solid and was easy to install, as was the DC power supply. I needed a longer cable between the power supply and the router than Trio supplied but Tim turned me onto a source and I bought one from Amazon. A separate source turned me onto the Cable Clam you will see in the pictures. I highly recommend these products and Trio! They made my installation easy and appear professional. I purchase a Gen 3 flat mount and a 12VDC converter and very happy with both items. Installed on the roof rack and it was easy and a solid mount. Added the 12VDC to use with my battery system when on the road.
